MAGIC

I guess I clear this up. I didn't even think about how some people might not know what the MAGIC convention is. It stands for Mens Apparel Guild of California, and was started about 50 years ago, only showing mens clothing and accessories. In the last 10 years or so, it has started being equally women's clothes aswell, and it is held in Las Vegas every February and August. Every store from Nordstroms to a small boutique has it's retail buyers go to the convention and place their store orders.

Let me just say, the MAGIC fashion convention is awesome. I truly love going, because it's very interesting. The best part though is the people watching. Some very trendy and beautiful people, guys and girls, can be found here. Anyone else go this August?

my new tuquoise-colored obsession

I'm starting to have a slight obsession with chunky gemstone jewelry, mainly turquoise. Every outfit I start to put together lately, I can't help but thinking about how a bulky turquoise necklace could perfectly complete it. Not owning very many turquoise pieces myself (yet), I set out to find a couple nice ones. To my suprise, eBay had the best selection, and the best part of all was that mostly all started bidding at around $0.10! Next time your looking for something specific, I heavily advise giving eBay a shot.

Sam Edelman, why must your new shoes be so damn cute? I am worried I'm going to splurge all my pocket money the moment I finally see these gorgeous pairs of shoes in person! These are the perfect shoes for me, seeing as Sasha Pivovarova's spread in Fashion Rocks recently moved me into my glam bohemian stage.
